Mold

Mold isn’t a bad word.

Molds are organisms that are found indoors and outdoors. They are part of the natural environment and play an important role in our ecological system. Every home has mold. Mold only becomes a problem when there is too much of it, when it causes problems for your health, or when it is unsightly and causing damage to property. When elevated levels are found, damage could occur to wood and other components of the home and potentially cause health issues. All mold is microbial growth, but not all microbial growth is mold. This is where mold testing comes in.

Property values and personal health can be greatly affected by mold. Mold testing can help to prevent damage to property and help keep your family healthy by identifying the problem so it can be fixed.
